Seatrout Paradise

Fishing for seatrout on the 19 kilometers of beautiful and diverse shores on Avernakø is truly incredible. Fishing can be good all year round due to the unique conditions of the sea and the shape of the island. The best time of fishing on Avernakø is autumn and spring, where the location is one of the best fishing spots in the world. The island’s shores offer all kinds of fishing, so whether you are a spinner or fly angler, you can always find a place where it is possible to fish.

The island is not long, so whether you are by car, bike, or on foot, you can easily get around on Avernakø. The advantage of Avernakø, over so many other islands, is that it is in a suitable size, so you do not have to spend a long time switching fishing spots. It only takes 10 min by car to drive from the east side to the west side of the island, and this is clearly an advantage as one can so quickly find a place where it is possible to catch a sea trout. On Avernakø you can spend a whole week fishing around the island, but you can also take a day trip and still reach many of the incredible fishing spots.

“If you have never fished on Avernakø, then it is definitely worth a visit!” – René, Ækvator Sport
