Seatrout Paradise

Fishing for seatrout along the beautiful shores, which you will find at Avernakø, are amazing. Fishing is good all year round but both autumn and spring is when Avernakø easily can be called out as one of the best seatrout spots in the world. The shores of Avernakø can accomodate all kinds of fishing whether you are spin or fly fishing you can always find a good spot. The island is not very wide and about 8 kilometers long so whether you bring a car, a bike or just yourself you will be able to go on a fishing trip. The advantage of Avernakø, over so many other islands, is that it is a suitable size, so you do not have to spend a long time finding and switching to new fishing spots. It only takes 10 min by car to drive from the east side to the west side of the island, and this is clearly an advantage as one can quickly find a place where conditions for seatrout fishing is better. On Avernakø you can spend a whole week fishing around the island, but you can also take a day trip and still reach many of the incredible fishing spots.

Fishing Lodge

We have all the neccessary facilities for anglers who look fof a fishing lodge that can match the seatrout paradise that is Avernakø. We offer drying rack for waders, opportunity to have your catch frozen, meals and to go meals, so that it suits the rythm of your fishing activities.

If you are lucky/skilled enough to catch a fish, you can always ask Gitte if the fish can be cooked for dinner on the same day or the next. If possible we will do our best to complete the experience so that you can enjoy the fruits of your labor.

We are always working on making it even more attractyve and comfortable for our anglers and their stay with us. Right now we are working on getting better gear drying capacities, a small selection of end gear and the likes and some waders and fishing rods for rent. If you are a complete beginner you will be able to go on a fishing trip witough having to invest in all of the gear yourself. If you are more experienced but unlycky and rip your waders – well then you can rent a pair and continue fishing without have to go to “the main land”.
